“The 2020 Shadybrook Estate V Red Blend has a beautifully concentrated crimson hue. Aromas of fresh blueberry, sage, coffee bean, and sweet tobacco float from the glass, with a touch of stony minerality showcasing the cooler climate of the Coombsville AVA. Juicy structured tannins coat the palate with highlighting flavors of red raspberry, black cherry, and rhubarb pie, interwoven with hints of white pepper, clove, and allspice. The wine gracefully progresses into layers of fine leather, and baking chocolate that add depth, with a core of fresh acidity and brightness leaving a long lingering finish.”

“The 2020 Shadybrook Estate Cabernet Sauvignon is grown on our Estate vineyard located in Coombsville tucked on a southeast facing hillside in the Napa Valley. This fog cooled vineyard imbues aromas of crème de cassis, rose petal, worn leather undertones, and an exciting umami quality. Fresh acidity wraps around fine-grained tannins revealing a crushed rock minerality, while concentrated layers of anise, coffee bean, graham cracker, and toasted oak delightfully melt onto the palate. This is the flagship wine for Shadybrook Estate Winery and a true expression of the Coombsville Estate vineyard, and the timeless value of wines made to last.”

“Loaded with personality, the 2020 Shadybrook Estate Malbec is a beautifully balanced wine with a rich purple-garnet hue in the glass. Bursting with fragrant aromas of Asian spices, baking chocolate, and black fig woven with subtle floral notes, and fresh cracked black pepper. The palate is complex with fresh acidity, and silky tannins that wrap around flavors of rhubarb, molasses, and toffee, resulting in a beautifully balanced Malbec carrying the distinctive stamp of Coombsville. With one acre planted, the Shadybrook Estate Malbec is highly sought after and in limited quantities.”

“2020 produced a beautifully expressive Chardonnay from our Los Carneros Estate. The boisterous bouquet invites you in with lively aromas of warm Asian pear, Meyer lemon, crème brûlée and baking spices, supported by more subtle notes of brioche toast, a nod to the well-integrated French Oak. Fresh, vibrant and mouthwatering, the palate is crisp with layers of stone fruit, honeycomb, caramelized brown sugar and candied citrus, backed up by a luscious texture that is rich and balanced, a result of the delicate batonnage lees stirring that occurs during the winemaking process. Maintaining a core of fresh acidity, this Chardonnay is graceful, elegant, and full of depth with a lengthy satisfying finish.”

Expressions of beautiful aromas layered in warm fennel and sage spices mingled with the fresh fruit components of rhubarb, Bing cherries and hint of rose petal. An agile wine with flavors of matcha tea, strawberry jam, and rich chocolate melt into a round, finely textured finish with subtle notes of wet stone and cedar.
