“The Estate V Red Blend is a beautiful representation of the 15 acres planted to all five of the noble Bordeaux varieties on the Shadybrook Estate. These varieties are Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Malbec. Every year this blend breakdown changes to showcase special and unique wines that the estate vineyard and vintage year offers us.  

Rich with garnet color, the 2019 Shadybrook Estate V Red Blend is a refreshing and supple wine that allows each of the five noble red Bordeaux varietals to shine. This wine begins with alluring aromas of blueberry, sage, and violets, while a subtle hint of crushed graphite adds appeal. The plush mouthfeel is silky and inviting leading to notes of raspberry compote, cinnamon stick, and fresh coffee beans. Juicy from start to finish, the round, structured tannins envelope the palate, leading to a long, mouthwatering finish with fresh acidity and vibrancy.”
