“2020 produced a beautifully expressive Chardonnay from our Los Carneros Estate. The boisterous bouquet invites you in with lively aromas of warm Asian pear, Meyer lemon, crème brûlée and baking spices, supported by more subtle notes of brioche toast, a nod to the well-integrated French Oak. Fresh, vibrant and mouthwatering, the palate is crisp with layers of stone fruit, honeycomb, caramelized brown sugar and candied citrus, backed up by a luscious texture that is rich and balanced, a result of the delicate batonnage lees stirring that occurs during the winemaking process. Maintaining a core of fresh acidity, this Chardonnay is graceful, elegant, and full of depth with a lengthy satisfying finish.”
